We are a non-profit corporation dedicated to the healing in peoples' lives. We are a non-denominational entity that is comprised of individuals of many different Christian beliefs: Church of the Nazarene, United Methodist, Baptist, Assemblies of God, Roman Catholic, and Russian Orthodox.
Our headquarters are in Idaho Falls, Idaho which is located in eastern Idaho near the Teton Mountains in the Yellowstone Park ecosystem. We hope to have auxiliary locations in other locations in the United States as well as in Ukraine.
This dream began over twenty years ago when our Director and CEO felt a calling to perform healing intervention with individuals who were struggling with some aspect of their lives. She recognized that these people had a difficult timing forming a personal relationship with Jesus because of the issues that they could not release to Him. Through prayer, praise, and worship, these people come to the realization that our God, the Creator, the Physician, could heal any of our suffering and most of all, bring them closer to Him.
Recently, one of our Board members served a short mission in central Ukraine in May 2006. His heart was touched by the people of Ukraine. These people, compared to Americans, had almost nothing as far as material possessions. But, more importantly, many of these people struggled with poverty, substance abuse, prostitution, the fall of communism, and other challenges. These people did have two things that are rarely seen in America: a strong desire to search out and find Jesus, and a faith that stands strong in the face of opposition.
Ministry of Reconciling Peace hopes to train individuals and groups with the Biblical tools necessary to prayerfully tackle these challenges and work with hurting people to help them find their way back to a strong and loving relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
